Strawberry Crunch Cream Puffs
Made with our Belgian Mini Cream Puffs, these bite-sized treats combine classic strawberry shortcake flavors with delightful convenience. They’re sure to be the highlight of any summer gathering!
Ingredients
(Makes 15 Strawberry Crunch Cream Puffs)
- 15 Delizza Belgian Mini Cream Puffs (room temperature)
- 1 ¼ cups strawberry-flavored candy melts
- 1 teaspoon coconut oil (optional; for thinning candy melts)
- 1 cup freeze dried strawberries
- 6 shortbread cookies
- 1 toothpick
Directions
In a food processor, pulse together the freeze dried strawberries and shortbread cookies until a coarse crumble is formed. Set aside.
In a medium bowl, melt strawberry-flavored candy melts per package instructions. Add coconut oil if necessary to thin out consistency.
Using a toothpick, dip Delizza Belgian Mini Cream Puffs into the melted candy melts and tap off any excess coating.
Place coated Mini Cream Puffs on a sheet lined with parchment and quickly sprinkle with the crumbled strawberry shortcake mixture.
Allow coating to cool and set, then enjoy.
