Raspberry Macaron Trifle
Spoil your sweetheart with this stunning and simple Raspberry Macaron Trifle. Layered with sweet raspberries, decadent whipped cream and Delizza Macarons, this dessert will be loved by all.
(Makes 4 servings)
- 12 Delizza Macarons (raspberry preferred; room temperature)
- 1 3-ounce package raspberry gelatin
- 1 6-ounce package raspberries
- 1 cup water, cold
- 1 cup water, boiling
- Whipped cream
In a large bowl, stir raspberry-flavored gelatin powder with 1 cup of boiling water until gelatin is completely dissolved. Stir in 1 cup of cold water and let mixture cool for 20 minutes.
Divide liquid gelatin mixture between four 8-ounce glasses (about ½ cup per glass). Place 6 to 8 raspberries into each glass, allowing raspberries to sink into the liquid.
Refrigerate uncovered for 2 to 3 hours until gelatin has set.
Once gelatin is firm, top each glass with 3 Delizza Macarons, add a dollop of whipped cream and garnish with more raspberries. Serve immediately and enjoy.
